I specialize in working with adults with a focus on couples, families, and relationships. I use a range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including emotion-focused therapy, and strength based therapy. My journey to becoming a therapist was an unexpected one. With a father who was a writer and director, and a mother who was an actress I spent most of my life immersed in the creative arts. I studied musical theatre, film, and television at Oklahoma City University, and after graduation, I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of becoming an actress. But the entertainment industry can be a difficult and unpredictable profession and I struggled with the pressures and uncertainty of the business.
It was then that I began to turn my attention to psychology, which had always fascinated me. As an actor, I had to get into the minds of my characters and understand their motivations. I realized that the same principles applied to understanding anxiety and panic attacks that began in 7th grade. The help others who were struggling with similar issues. I am passionate about helping people find healing, growth, and fulfillment in their lives. I am here to support you every step of the way, as we embark on this journey together.
