Meet Our Counselors
Find the right counselor that’s meant for you.
Care that starts with connection.
At Synergy Wellbeing, we believe meaningful therapy begins with the right connection. Every person brings a unique story, personality, and set of needs. Finding a counselor who feels like a good fit can make all the difference.
I help tweens, adolescents, and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and life transitions. I offer a supportive space where you can explore healing through words and art.

I’ve been an LPC and art therapist for awhile now but I’ve been an artist most of my life. Being able to blend art and therapy has been personally and professionally rewarding. We can talk through your emotional struggles. But for clients interested in exploring a nonverbal means of expression through the art process, art therapy can be the shift that is needed for change and healing.
I have a master’s degree in art therapy. I am a registered and board certified art therapist, a licensed professional counselor and I am trained in play therapy. My work experience includes both medical and mental health settings. My goal is to offer support and to challenge you to discover peace in the unfolding and process of life. I see children as young as five, adolescents and adults in all stages of life.
If we agree to work together, we will work collaboratively to address the issues you want to address and discover ways to cope with overwhelming emotions that are helpful for you. My work with clients has included help with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, relationships, stress, trauma, childhood issues , individuals dealing with medical and health issues and life transitions.
I approach therapy from a client centered, strengths based and experiential viewpoint. I use narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with clients to help them process their life challenges and discover solutions that fit them. For clients who are inspired to work experientially I use art therapy. Most importantly, I will listen without judgement.
When I am not working, I enjoy making art, listening to music, reading, practicing yoga and spending time with my dog.
I help adolescents and adults work through addiction, trauma, anxiety, and depression, while also supporting couples and families in building stronger relationships.

My strong faith, commitment to serve and passion for helping others live their best life led me to the counseling profession after retiring from the US military. I have been a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor/Mental Health since 2007 and have worked in hospitals, drug court and private practice.
At Synergy Wellbeing, I work with adults and adolescents who are dealing with addictions, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and PTSD. I enjoy helping couples and families repair and improve their relationships. I offer caring, compassionate Client Centered therapy with a focus on understanding you and your needs. I am certified in EMDR for trauma recovery and use Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice.
As a therapist, there’s no better feeling than helping someone break free of the prison of addiction and live a good life. I always tell my clients, “You are the best psychologist in the room.” I want to help you find purpose in your life and will help you find your own solutions and guide you toward the life you want for yourself. I can make a difference in your life by improving your self-confidence and helping you address mental health, relationship, or addiction challenges.
I graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Human Services and minor in Business from Upper Iowa University in 2000. In 2006 I earned a Master of Divinity degree from Oral Roberts University.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my lovely wife and family, reading non-fiction and historical literature, fishing, bowling, and watching team sports. I volunteer at my local church and in the community and believe in helping others “live their best dream.”
I work with teens, couples, and families, especially those exploring sexual and gender identity. My approach is warm and affirming, helping you navigate challenges and build a more joyful life.

I love working with teens, families and couples and have special emphasis on those who are members of sexual and gender minorities, or just trying to figure it out. As a green country native, investing in the wellbeing of our community has been the core of my work since 2012. I feel privileged as I watch clients discover a life not just with less barriers, but with more joy through the therapy process.
I often use Humanistic, Person-Centered, Gestalt, and Emotion-Focused theories as therapeutic models to help clients strive for growth and balance. Additionally, I am trained in CPT, TF-CBT, CBT and Motivational Interviewing.
To recharge I enjoy cooking, gardening, crocheting, and puzzles.
I help people navigate trauma, addiction, identity exploration, and life transitions in a supportive, affirming space focused on helping you discover a more authentic and fulfilling life.

I want to help you create a life you love. In high school I thought I was going to be a journalist. At first, this may seem very different from being a therapist, but they share a lot in common: listening to understand what’s really going on, asking questions to explore what’s under the surface and bringing to light that which may not have been apparent. As your therapist, I want to help you seek, inquire and discover your authentic life.
As a therapist, I guess it’s no surprise that I love people. Before becoming a therapist, I worked a lot of different industries – retail, restaurants, even insurance. I lived with in Belgium and taught English as a second language. The thing they had in common was helping people find what they wanted (well, OK, maybe with insurance, not so much).
As a therapist, I have had the opportunity to walk with lots of different types of people through all kinds of challenges – women escaping trauma and violence, those struggling with addiction, and all kinds of people trying to figure out who they are and how to live their best life. I have a lot of experience working with clients who are LGBTQIA+. In my counseling practice I use CBT, Mindfulness Meditation, Breathwork and Motivational Interviewing with my clients.
I am a native Tulsan. I am a twin. I have two cats, Puck and Reno whom I adore. I love live events. With enough time and money, I would travel the country going concerts of all genres and sporting events. I am a HUGE sports fan, especially basketball (Go Thunder!). I am also a bit of a history buff and watch a lot of documentaries.
I help teens (16+), adults, couples, and Veterans and their families navigate anxiety, depression, stress, grief, and trauma in a supportive, whole-person approach.

My resume – like my life – is a rich tapestry of experiences. I traveled extensively with my husband while he was in the military, which gave me the opportunity to meet people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures. It also taught me flexibility.
When my husband retired from the military, we moved back to Tulsa where I worked as a teacher and counselor for private and public schools, including my alma mater, Will Rogers High School. I worked with students, as well as their teachers, parents, and the school administrators.
All these experiences helped to shape my holistic approach to therapy. I believe in addressing the whole person – mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. I work with women, men and couples 16 and older, as well as Veterans and their families. I help my clients address a variety of issues including anxiety, stress, depression, grief/loss, trauma, and PTSD and give my clients the tools they need to enhance their lives.
If we agree to work together, you can expect eclectic combination of therapeutic models including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Anxiety Reduction, Stress Relief, and Narrative. If your Christian faith is a source of strength and comfort for you, I can incorporate that into the counseling process, as well. But most importantly, we will talk regularly about what’s working and not working for you and adjust as needed.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy traveling with my husband, sailing, reading and spending time with my family.
I work with adults facing depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship challenges. Together, we create a safe space to explore what’s been holding you back and find a path forward.

I’ve worn many hats throughout my career, from guidance counselor to case manager to therapist. At one point I owned my own business specializing in trompe l’oeil murals and decorative paintings in homes and businesses.
Throughout my career – both as a counselor and as a muralist – I’ve come to realize that it’s not about my goals or my expectations. It’s about my clients and what they hope to achieve, whether in their home or in counseling.
I began my career as a psychiatric technician working with kids and later in a group home for adults. I fell in love with the work and the concept of hope and change.
Depression, trauma, substance abuse, and unhealthy relationships are often debilitating. Sometimes, the coping that serves you in the short-term can manifest into lifestyles that do not serve you in the long-term. After 25 years in the mental health field, I believe in our capacity to navigate and learn from our difficulties. You are the expert on yourself.
As a client, you can expect a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere for you to heal, develop insight, and move forward. I am open minded and relational in my approach. I am credentialed with the Oklahoma Board of Nursing PEER Assistance Program and Oklahoma Pharmacists Helping Pharmacists. In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, gardening, and live theatre.
I work with adults seeking deeper healing from grief, trauma, anxiety, and depression. My approach is reflective and insight-driven, helping you reconnect with yourself.

My clients are adults who want deep healing from grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, and other wounds to find wholeness in self and relationships again. There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. Every journey is different. I help my clients uncover what they may have forgotten and move towards the path of growth and healing
My practice focuses on grief therapy, dream tending, mindfulness, active imagination, images, and other forms of symbolic expression. Through individual counseling and dream group work, I assist those who are ready to trust their inner guidance and bravely explore the dark. Even the most difficult challenge can hold gifts for us. My journey to becoming a counselor began with a series of devastating losses. After losing my husband and other family members, I felt lost myself. Having always been fascinated by mythology, I saw how these ancient stories could offer comfort and insight into the human experience. As I delved deeper I found my true calling while studying mythology. with an emphasis in depth psychology, a practice based in Carl Jungs’s psychoanalytic therapy. I pursued certificatioin in loss and trauma from University of the Southwest in New Mexico. I began giving talks on mythology, grief, and death, sharing what I had learned with others who were struggling with their own losses. I am humbled by the stories I hear and the wisdom gained by my clients. If you choose to work with me, I will be with you every step of the way, listening to your story and helping you discover the path to healing and growth.
I help teens (14+) and adults navigate trauma, anxiety, PTSD, depression, grief, and mood-related challenges in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

I became a therapist after teaching voice and music lessons for 35 years. While that may sound like an abrupt career change, it was a natural transition for me. My students often wanted to discuss the issues of their lives with me and found that I was an understanding and empathetic listener who was able to help them find hope again. Teaching vocal music also helped me to understand and truly observe how much we communicate nonverbally through body language and tone, in addition to our words.
As a therapist, I work with individuals 14 and older who have experienced trauma, are struggling with anxiety, phobias, PTSD, depression, and grief. I also work with individuals who have been diagnosed with personality disorders, or mood disorders such as Bi-Polar Disorder. I am experienced and comfortable with a diversity of ages, genders, lifestyles, experiential histories, cultures, and nationalities.
If we agree to work together, you can expect a ccombination of Person-Focused Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I am certified as a Trauma Treatment Specialist, as well as in Thought Field Therapy, which is highly effective in treating trauma and other challenges. My goal is to help you learn to better manage emotions such as stress or anger and recover from divorce or other life losses. We will explore together how you want your life to be different and agree on the best way to get there.
I have an adorable partner – my therapy dog in training, Shadow. She is a “bringer of joy” and helps my clients feel more open and relaxed. She is wonderfully attuned to feelings and will sometimes sit with you as you release your feelings through words, tears, or even silence – all without judgement.
I help adolescents and adults heal from trauma, strengthen relationships, and restore connection through a warm, culturally responsive approach grounded in authenticity and compassion.

My work centers on restoring connection—within individuals, couples, families, and the broader community. I offer culturally responsive therapy. From the beginning, I knew this was the work I was meant to do. I support clients in bringing their own spiritual beliefs and practices into the therapeutic process. I believe laughter is powerful medicine. I bring warmth, authenticity, and humor into sessions whenever possible.
I offer culturally responsive therapy and couples therapy informed by the Gottman Method. As a citizen of the Kiowa tribe and Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma with Comanche ancestry, my culture and spirituality are central to my own healing and grounding. I support clients in bringing their own spirituality and practices into the therapeutic process. I offer warmth, authenticity and, when appropriate, humor in sessions whenever possible.
I am passionate about healing intergenerational trauma. When adults carry unhealed wounds, those wounds often ripple through families and communities. My work centers on restoring connection—within individuals, couples, families and the broader community.
While training in EMDR, I recognized and worked through my own trauma, deepening both my personal healing and my clinical insight. In 2018, I opened my private practice, with a strong commitment to serving Indigenous communities—especially those living in urban settings. As a proud member of the Kiowa, Comanche, Cherokee, and Muscogee (Creek) Nations, I understand firsthand the complexity of integrating cultural belief systems with Western models of care. Much of what is called the biopsychosocial-spiritual model parallels the teachings of the medicine wheel and community-centered ways of healing that have long existed within our tribal traditions.
I earned my Master’s degree from Phillips Graduate Institute at Argosy University, where I fell in love with community-oriented work rooted in systems, families, and relationships. From the beginning, I knew this was the work I was meant to do. After returning to Oklahoma, I spent over a decade in community mental health, focusing on children and trauma. I believe that when we intervene early, we create the possibility for healthier, more successful adults. I am a citizen of e Kiowa tribe and Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma with Comanche ancestry.
I primarily work with adolescents (14+) and adults, and I welcome older adults as well. I deeply value children and elders, honoring their sacred role within our communities.
Oklahoma is home. I feel spiritually connected to this land and community, and that sense of belonging sustains both my life and my work. It is an honor to walk alongside others on their healing journey.
